TWOTF: So tell us about the event on October 12^th.

Stephen: its gonna be taking place at Blackall studios in London and its all about the Iconic Nike Air Max 1 – the original Air Max shoe. This is going to be unlike any event to have happened that’s about trainers or sneakers as they say. We will be paying homage to a shoe that we love by putting together the most amazing display of Air Max 1s ever, anywhere in the world.

Stevie: 150 pairs of the iconic Max 1, limited editions, collabs, customs, unreleased pairs just an amazing selection of 1s. Seriously it’s going to be a sneaker display that’s gonna blow peoples’ minds.

Stephen: in addition the event will include Art, Fashion, and Music. But again unlike other events we wanted the art to be different from anything that people may have seen before at sneaker events. We see the Air Max 1 shoe very much as something that can be described as a piece of art and so everything happening at this event will reflect the very high esteem we give to this shoe. This event is definitely going to be a part of trainer history.

It’s been a labour of love and we have been working on getting it to this place, to the actual event for 5 years and our love for the shoes is what has driven us. It’s just so amazing that it’s about to be a reality.

Stevie: for me my love of trainers is a huge part of me and it always will be until I’m that old man but still with a hot pair on foot. So we hope that people will get down to the event and witness sneaker history. Yes it’s gonna be historic.

Dwayne: we have put this event on to share our love of the game. We are all artistic and creative individuals and wanted to combine our love for the shoes, with our love for all that is creative into a massive event for the art and sneaker world. I urge everyone to come down and check it out.
