15. New Balance 577 x Burn Rubber
Detroit’s Burn Rubber have put out some seriously solid releases and we think that these 577s definitely went under the radar. In homage to one of boxing’s greats Joe Louis and with a colour scheme based on the boxing gloves of old in some seriously fine leather. Amazing story, amazing shoe.

The Word on the Feet 
If they sold out almost immediately, please explain how they can possibly be slept on??
Thank you for your comment. Not sure which shoe you’re talking about. We’re pretty sure, as we’ve been following a lot of these releases, that the shoes on our list were not instant sellouts on the scale of the Ronnie Fieg Volcanos or Footpatrol Sauconys for example. But if you clarify which release that might help. Thanks again.
