Sup sneaker fam. So I want to start this weeks round up off with the Nike Air Max 93 ‘Metals’ – size? These dropped today Friday the 30th May exclusively to Size? website and stores. Size? have been releasing some pretty nice colourways in the last year or so and given some spot light to the Air Max 93 again. The two colourways are a burnt red with orewod brown and cool grey and platinum white. As the name of the pack suggests both colourways releasing take inspiration from various metals and judging by the pictures the quality looks pretty decent also. If the quality in person matches up to the pictures then I think both these will be pretty dope kicks and worthy of picking up. These are available NOW, head over to Size?

Moving on to tomorrow firstly a brief mention of the Lebron 11 everglades and Lebron 11 everglades iD option that will be available on Nike. Pretty interesting colourway although I’m not a fan particularly of the Lebron 11 silhouette this could be a nice kick for summer with a bright vibrant Floridian everglades feel to it. Although the iD option will obviously be exclusive to Nike you can find the shoe this Saturday available at Nike.com and Footlocker.eu among other Nike basketball retailers.

Next my favorite release this week the Hanon x Diadora N.9000 “The Saturday Special”. This releases Saturday exclusive to Hanon. Anyone who knows me knows I’m not a runner fan nor a particular fan of brand Diadora but I think they’ve done a good job on this collaboration. Described as hand crafted and using materials such as kangaroo leather, silky pig and bovine suede, and mesh and comes with 3 sets of laces and a dust bag (and if you’re in the lucky first 30 you’ll get a tee shirt). The colourway itself is inspired by a train and bus service that ran here back in the 80’s featuring dark marine, burgundy, red and sky blue accents. All in all a nice colourway with quality materials and some little dope touches like the Hanon flame one the heel and tongue all add up to make this my favourite release and best for your buck in my opinion. Due to release Saturday 31st May in store at 10am and the remaining pairs are set to be available online at 2pm.

This Saturday sees another Nice Colourway dropping featuring that tropical floral summer vibe is the Invincible x Reebok Insta Pump Fury “Cattleya”. Taiwan based company INVINCIBLE hooks up with Reebok to release the iconic Insta-pump fury silhouette in this new colourway. The main upper of the kick features floral Hawaiian fabric throughout, overlaid with Reeboks signature “air bladder” in black with olive green accents with hints of pink throughout the shoe. If you’re a fan of the silouhette or you’re a fan of this style of print which seems to have become more popular in the last year or two then this should be a consideration for you this weekend. This shoe will be available at retailers such as End Clothing and Hanon, I would have thought Footpatrol also but unconfirmed at this time.

Another pretty cool release this week is the UBIQ x Asics Gel Lyte V. Yes I know another collaboration shoe but you love it really. Looking like it takes inspiration from the cherry blossom trees to me, UBIQ of Philadelphia collaborate with ASICS on the Gel Lyte V silhouette to create the ‘Midnight Bloom’ with a mix of light and dark tones, broken up with a soft pink nubuck panels. Also not to forget 3M accent on the heel, we all love some 3M, anyway this a pretty decent looking kick yet again. Personally I’m not a big fan on the Gel Lyte V but if you are I think this is worth adding to the collection. Schedule to drop Saturday the 31st at Hanon and I’m guessing Footpatrol and End Clothing although unconfirmed release date at the time of writing this for theses two retailers.

Finally a quick one for the ladies (leave it) sees the Nike Blazer Mid Premium Vintage floral pack releasing this Saturday. The blazer mid returns with 3 different floral colourways representing 3 respective citys New York, Chicago and Los Angeles. To quote Nike directly “The first pair draws inspiration from Los Angeles with an explosive birds-of-paradise print, a not-so-subtle nod to the sunny weather that fosters the beautiful plant’s growth. Additionally, the Chicago-inspired pair features chrysanthemums, the official flower of the Windy City. To complete the coast-to-coast travel, the New York City-inspired pair employs an all-over dandelion print, a symbolic reference to wishful thinking and the quick pace of the Big Apple’s city-streets.” If these are your cup of tea they will be releasing on Nike.com at 8am GMT on Saturday and will be limited to 1 per person. Due also to be available from Hanon and Wellgosh amongst others.
