We would like to introduce you to Davonte Jolly, an amazing Skateboard filmmaker who has captured some seriously sick skate footage that has become part of some sick skateboard films. Davonte has done work with Primitive and is involved with projects with DC Shoes and GoPro. We were lucky enough to catch up with Davonte and speak to him. TWOTF: Tell us a bit about yourself, where are you based, how old are you, what do you do?

My name is Davonte Jolly I’m a 19-year-old skateboarding filmmaker based in Los Angeles.

TWOTF: Now tell us about these amazing skateboard films how did that all come about?

I started filming because me and my homies would always make little videos for YouTube and I was the only one with the editing software. But when I would edit the videos I didn’t like how everyone else was filming. So I basically just took control and became the person filming and the editor for my homies.
