New Balance and traditional British bench-made shoe makers Grenson come together for phase two of their collaboration.
After the phenomenal launch of the “One Shoe, Two Factories” collaboration between Grenson and New Balance two years ago, here comes Phase 2. This time a new colourway of the original Men’s 576 sneaker has been created in a mix of classic Grenson Full Grain, Italian calf leathers, including a burnished tan, dark brown and Burnt Oak suede.
In addition, a women’s version has been created in Grenson Italian full grain tan calf, and winter white ruff-out suede. This shoe also features a “kiltie” as seen on traditional bench made shoes of the past.
The real innovation this time around is that the two companies have for the first ever time, made a Goodyear Welted version of the 576 crafted entirely in the Grenson factory in Northamptonshire.
The Grenson x New Balance M576GSN, M576GWV2 and W576GTW are available now at Grenson, New Balance online and the New Balance flagship store on Oxford Street, London. Limited pairs will then be available globally at specialty retailers from 20th Jan.
