Now there is a serious buzz about these!!! If you don’t know who Karla Cornwall is she produces amazing multi-material clothing creations that include sick reworked sneakers. And her latest creation is straight FIYAH!

We caught up with old friend of TWOTF Karla to salute the work yet again and give you guys a little bit of a personal insight into her work:

“I’m always pushing the boundaries of customisation on a variety of platforms.”

Karla and her brand Karla Cornwall London, describes herself as a Creative Textile Visionary, specialising in original collaborative platforms of bespoke artistry. BLAM! Pushing the boundaries of individualism and creative freedom which empowers clients who resonate with the brand.

From fashion, to art and sneaker customisation, to name but a few of the realms where Karla is comfortable, Karla is definitely starting to make her mark in the creative industry. Being one of the contributors featured in the first British Sneaker documentary Soleseekers, to designing custom sneakers for Hip-Hop Soul singer Musiq Soulchild that were proper rocked by Musiq at the 2019 BET Hip Hop awards.

When it comes to this pair of Nike Vapormax which is a firm favourite with folks here, after posting one of her signature distressed Nike Air Max customs on social media she was then commissioned to take the base pair, the Nike Air Vapormax x Off-White in black and work her magic on the uppers in distressed denim. A special extra  bonus is that all customs come with a  customised box or bag. The whole package is FIYAH, straight up and down.

“I believe I can customise any type of footwear I  put my mind too, I was really excited to tackle the Air Vapourmax in distressed denim. Everything is always free flowing, I do not draw the design but go with the creative flow which I feel  adds a more unique flair to the sneaker. Individualism it’s what’s draws my niche clientele to my work.”
