Right in honour of the Great British tennis championships gonna try and keep with the tennis theme this week. When the world’s streetwear and sneaker shop heavyweights took on two time Grand Slam winner Rod Laver’s signature shoe as their canvases the crew from CLOT, as usual, didn’t bother trying to keep it conservative. Instead they produced the Rod Laver From Dusk Til Dawn and hit this classic with side panels covered in brown pony hair. But this wasn’t just some slap it on kind of affair they complemented the pony hair with soft tanned leather. On the heels tabs DUSK and DAWN and the same words written in Chinese, in what is almost like gold leaf on the tongues. Add to that CLOT at the back of the midsole in Philadelphia Love style. Then the Clot logo on the lace tips, the gold lace holes and the mantra on the insoles:
