LOVELIFE is a not-for-profit organization that helps children suffering from cancer and their families established by well-known TV personality Chen Jian Zhou. Chen, a former professional basketball player has teamed up with Nike to create the Nike Ignite Shanghai collection as a way to raise awareness of the work being done by LOVELIFE and to gain support for its fight against cancer.

Featuring the old and the new the pack features a Nike Hyperdunk 1 and an Air Force 1. These look really nice with plenty of detail. The AF1s feature premium leather and suede and I love the way the have the fuchsia red beneath the perforations, and they’re finished off with a speckled midsole and an icy sole. The icy sole features on the Hyperdunk too along with a speckled midsole also. The LOVELIFE logo features on both along with the Shen character for Shanghai.

It is great to see awareness being raised about this killer disease so props to Chen and LOVELIFE and of course Nike. If you’re feeling ’em you can show your support by copping a pair from the Nike China website.
