Yes yes people today we would like to introduce you to The Camp0ut crew – these are some folks that we connected with via social media who will now be running a regular column here on TWOTF reporting on sneaker releases and sneaker campouts in the US, with a particular focus on New York City. We are really stoked to have them on board to provide you with that news from the sneaker frontline. We kick off with a report on the Concepts GLIII release in NYC and these guys were some of the lucky few to get that wooden box. So dope! What’s up people it’s The Camp0ut in The Word on the Feet building! So happy to be here and to give you guys some insight LIVE from the sneaker frontline out here in NYC. This is gonna be a regular gig for us so stay tuned for sneaker news as it goes down on the streets of NYC.
Last weekend in New York City, Boston store Concepts released the fourth pair in a twelve run series of 25th anniversary Asics to commemorate, you guessed it, the 25th anniversary of the Gel Lyte III. TheCamp0ut was there in full effect for a strong and dedicated 4 days managing to secure one of the coveted 6 tea crates designed specifically and only for the NYC pop-up shop.
You’ll see some shots of the Camp out at Concepts pop-up shop in NYC. Luckily all the rowdy RESELLERS caught wind of the highly anticipated Jordan 1 “Pinnacle” drop at Flight 23 in mid-town Manhattan so headed out there. We have some pics of what the line looked like over at Flight 23 the day before the Pinnacle info was even dropped to the public. Crazy Jordan hype!
Thanks to that drop everyone one who put their time in to camp were rewarded.
