This morning NikeLab have announced the second instalment of its partnership between NikeLab x Roundel. This collection has a unique connection to London and sees Nike revive the cult classic Air Zoom Spiridon, with London transports typeface – Johnston100.
Edward Johnston’s font was introduced by London Transport in 1916, bringing uniformity across the London city network. 100 years on, the Johnston font has received a subtle update for the digital age to create Johnston100. With the navy colour-way being a UK exclusive, Johnston100 will be seen like never before.
To celebrate the collection Nike will be taking over Charing Cross station on November 9, 2016, to host a pop up store with a limited run of the collection a month before it hits select retailers in early December.
