Converse One Star Hotel London

IMG_9649

We headed down to the Converse One Star Hotel yesterday – an amazing space that’s been put together by Converse and a bunch of collaborators and will be open this weekend to the general public.

The One Star Hotel presents a One Star twist on 5-Star establishments.

It’s designed to unite London’s sneaker, skate, fashion and music communities and offer a glimpse into the ’90s attitude that helped define the One Star’s adoption today.

The five-floor pop-up’s lobby is manned by 15-year-old streetwear enthusiast from Warkwickshire, @gullyguyleo (Leo Mandella), and includes “guest rooms” that provide unique opportunities for digital, product and live experiences curated by Converse collaborators, including Harlem-born rapper A$AP Nast, Stockholm’s Yung Lean, New York City’s MadeMe (a fashion label run by Erin Magee) and Beijing’s Tizzy T.

We loved the panel discussion that had Leo, Nast, Acyde, Grace Ladoja, Mimi Wade chop it up about fashion and music and lifestyle. We then toured the amazing space and we loved the Mid-Century room that A$AP Nast created and the Concrete Bedroom was another dope space. Check it out this weekend people!

The hotel shop will also be offering new releases of the One Star and re-ups of coveted versions.

The One Star Hotel is located at 155 New N Rd Hoxton, London N1 6TA and will be open February 16 and 17 from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. to late.
