Ok we’re not sure if folks know about FEIT, if any of you remember these on the shelves of Offspring back in the day? Well in a time when we often speak about the quality of materials on our shoes we can tell you that quality on a pair of FEITs is straight up next level.
The uppers are made from vegetable tanned leather and that leather is dyed with natural pigments keeping the leather looking good over time but allowing it to mature so to speak. These shoes are left on the last for 10 days yes 10 days and steam is used to tighten up the leather. The footbed is made from premium buffalo leather. Did someone say materials! And these are made completely by hand!
FEIT’s new bi color series for women features a two tone silhouette with white and black color block detailing at the heel. The classic collection of Hand Sewn Low, High and Slipper have been given a clean and minimal update for the Autumn and Winter.
These might not be for everyone or for the sneaker purists but we rate the shoes and the craftsmanship. Great work from the FEIT crew!
These are available at FEIT or at Dover Street Market.
