le coq sportif is this week drops a dope collab on the LCS R800 with French music label Partyfine. The LCS R800 has been updated for the occasion in an elegant monochrome makeup.
Both the label and brand wanted to create a sneaker that fitted in with Partyfine’s minimalist visual style with all the beauty of the shoe showcased in tres refined details.
A mix of smooth and perforated nubuck combine to create subtle contrast in silvergray, the colour of the music label’s compilation that will release this autumn. The letters Fine are embossed in 3M white on the heels and laces are printed at each end with the label’s slogan «We are fine».
Continuing in discrete fashion, the inner and outer soles are in matching gum flavour, offering a subtle and delicate contrast to this monochrome uppers.
More than just wanting to produce a dope pair of shoes that can be worn by the label’s artists and fans, le coq sportif’s French spirit appealed to Partyfine a label that has a number of French artists on its roster.
The collaboration would not have been complete without music added in there somewhere and a Partyfine mix to accompany this release with each pair of LCS R800 coming with a hang tag attached that will allow you to download an exclusive Partyfine mix specially created for the release.
