TWOTF – Talk us briefly through the creative process for the painting of the Jordan IV Military Blues.
TA – I found a picture of the shoes that I liked. I developed the piece as I went along using different mediums. Acrylic, watercolour, even some Posca marker pens and I just really worked it until it was where I wanted it to be. I wanted the background to be the same colour as what would be the shoe leather to create a certain fluidity between the background and the subject. I am really happy with how the finished product came out and it was no mean feat either probably took 10-12 hours in total to paint.
