Another hectic week…
It’s that time again people for a round up of some of this weeks drops on both sides of the pond. Can’t believe we’re doing this again, we’ve barely caught our breath from last week. Getting crazy out there!
Let’s start it off with the currently popular huarache silhouette, this week sees the release of the Nike Platinum White Huarache on the 01st of May of what poses to be a very popular release for summer. You will be able to find this Huarache releasing at most Nike retailers such as Wellgosh, Size?, Offspring, Footlocker, Consortium and JD Sports among others. (I’ve been advised there has been some Nike distribution issues so some stores will receive stock later than expected so please check with your local store). Looks like Afew and 43einhalb will be getting these also and Footlocker Euro stores.
Missed out on the Nike x Liberty London Pack? Good news for you this week you will have another chance to try and cop exclusively via Offspring. The ever-popular Liberty floral patterns featured on Nike silhouettes is a release many look forward to. Silhouettes due to release from the Nike Liberty London Pack include the Air Max 90, Roshe Run and the Blazer Mid. All three are due to release on the 2nd May exclusively in Offspring stores and online. More of the pack is due to release at a later date so make sure you keep checking in so as not to miss out.
Another hugely popular release this week sees the Jordan 11 Low in the classic and highly sort Concord colourway, as the majority of kick and especially Jordan enthusiasts will know this is an extremely popular colourway and silhouette in both low and high models. The Jordan 11 Concord lows will be releasing on Saturday 3rd May online and in store at most Jordan retailers such as Nike.com , Hanon, Size?, Offspring, Wellgosh, End Clothing, Urban Industry, Foot Asylum and more. And these will of course be dropping Stateside too at Nike.com , footlocker.com and most sneaker sellers on that side of the pond. Oh and BTW the Concord 11s are dropping in full family sizes so everyone in your crew and your fam can grab a pair!
Another Saucony collaboration this week sees a very popular release indeed. The Saucony x END Shadow 5000 ‘Burger’ using top quality materials, the upper is executed in perforated nubuck and suede with touches of leather, teamed with dual branded insoles and a woven tongue label. The custom boxes take inspiration from traditional burger packaging and the laces come packaged in corresponding sealed and branded sauce sachets. Available in extremely limited numbers, the Saucony x END Shadow 5000 ‘Burger’ will release exclusively at a launch party at 6pm on Thursday 1st May at End Clothing in Newcastle this will then be followed by an online release on Saturday 3rd May. More for our readers Stateside, this week sees the release of the Nike Air Max Breathe adding a new twist to an already classic and popular shoe just in time for summer to provide you with cool comfortable and light versions of some of your favorite Air Maxes with a less is more design philosophy. Also featuring now popular with many no-sew uppers. The collection including the Air Max 1, Air Max Light and Air Max 90 is due to launch May 1st 2014 at all major Nike retailers.
Also stateside this week is the official retro return of the Adidas APS after almost three decades in two colourway’s, this heritage silo sees styling in both the OG colourway and a “Nighthawk” flip colourway too. Not many running sneakers that provided the wearer with the same level of customization as the Adidas APS did, the kick also included/includes the spring shock absorption technology. The retro Adidas APS is due to officially release on 1st may at select Adidas Originals accounts so please check with your local retailer (some who may already be stocking). They’ll also be dropping Euroside at Overkill in Berlin
